Are you looking for a midwife on the Kāpiti Coast?
Nīkau Midwives commenced practice in 1998 to provide extensive midwifery care to the women of the Kāpiti Coast.
Nīkau Midwives aim to provide continuity of midwifery care through pregnancy, labour, birth and up to six weeks after the baby’s birth. We have found that this care leads to excellent results both in terms of satisfaction and outcomes for women and their babies.
Nīkau Midwives have consistent back-up from our group midwives and colleagues. We have regular organised time off and during your pregnancy you can meet and discuss your care plan with a back-up midwife at an arranged appointment.
Nīkau Midwives are all Registered with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand and are members of the New Zealand College of Midwives whose Standards of Practice and regular review processes guide our care. www.midwife.org.nz add www.midwiferycouncil.health.nz
